My friend Ron stared over his dashboard, his eyes holding utter contempt for the world in front of him.  Vehicles of every model, hue, and condition clogged the road, and for every curse Ron ushered down upon them, he cast five more on the free-moving traffic headed in the opposite direction.  “Dale’s going to have our heads for this,” he said.  “You know how he gets about his employees being late.”

A VisitJustin Morris sat on the small back porch of his apartment, staring out at the grid of proportionately-spaced sliding glass doors on the back of the apartment building across from his own. One had to wonder why he was out here every night, his shirt off, the screen door open, and a beer in his hand. If anyone should ask him, he’d tell them that he loved to listen. The passing traffic. The light breeze whirling between the apartment buildings. The stereo playing inside down the hall. The dog lying next to him, panting from the heat. The argument across the parking lot.

  • Playing: Chrono Trigger...again.

Hoo-ee. Talk about your long dry spells. But that should soon change, because SUMMER'S HERE. For me anyway.

It's a bittersweet vacation, though. I know I failed all my classes, and I'm probably not going to see a lot of the friends I made in college anymore. I'll spare you my thoughts on that though, since it'll inevitably take this giant emo twist, and nobody wants that.

Anyway, I haven't much to show in the way of writing yet. This is mostly due to a lack of motivation or inspiration. That should change as the weeks wear on, though. I should have something up by next weekend, even. It'll even be D&D related. Woo!

Right now however I sit at my desk while draped in my blue jacket, glued to my monitor in wait for the Official Super Smash Bros. Brawl website to finish it's apparently massive update, which should end later today. I want a Wii for the sole purpose of playing this game.
